Mint Butter is a refreshing blend of Peppermint, Spearmint, and non-GMO Soy Butter. This formulation creates a lush creamy butter base with an herbaceous and a minty cool aroma. The invigorating scent of this lavish Mint Butter fills the senses with a fresh burst of energy. Rich in its consistency, Mint Butter spreads smoothly over the skin and is easily absorbed, providing soothing moisture and intense nourishment to the skin.
Common Uses: Mint Butter can be blended into skin care products to add refreshing properties. It can be used in skin care, hair care, massage, and bath products.
Aromatic Description: Medium minty aroma.
Recommended Usage:
Lotions & Creams: 5 - 20 %
Balms: 5 - 100 %
Bar Soaps: 5 - 20 %
Hair Conditioners: 2 - 5 %
When adding this butter to creams and lotions, it might be necessary to gently warm it until its texture is soft enough to be incorporated into the final product. Using a hand blender, create a vortex with your cream or lotion and drizzle in the melted butter until fully incorporated and consistently smooth. In addition to soaps, the general rule of thumb is one tablespoon per pound of soap. As with most raw materials, results may vary, so we strongly recommend small, lab-scale batches prior to any commercial manufacturing.
Storage: Please note that this butter should ideally be stored in a refrigerator to maintain its texture. It will become soft in warmer temperatures.
