Description: This refined butter is an elegant blend of Green Tea (Camellia sinensis), non-comedogenic Coconut Oil and non-GMO Soy Butter. The micro-powder of the tender tea leaves is 200 mesh in size, which have been processed at low temperatures to keep their nutrients intact. The result is a butter that is soft and creamy, with a rich viscosity and smooth texture that melts quickly on contact with the skin.
Aromatic Description: Mild to no scent.
Common Uses: This butter may be used in body care preparations, facial creams, and lotions to impart deep hydration, and is particularly good for dry, damaged skin. Green tea butter has been specially designed to soothe the skin and enhances its natural suppleness and healthful sheen.
Recommended Usage:
• Lotions & Creams: 5 - 20 %
• Balms: 5 – 100 %
• Bar Soaps: 5 - 20 %
• Hair Conditioners: 2 – 5 %
When adding butters to creams and lotions, it might be necessary to gently warm them until the texture can be incorporated into the final product. Using a hand blender, create a vortex with your cream or lotion and drizzle your melted butter to fully incorporate. For addition in soaps, the general rule of thumb is 1 tablespoon per pound (15 g / 500 g). As with most raw materials, results may vary, so we strongly recommend small, lab-scale batches prior to any commercial manufacturing.
